It is soooo ON!

There he his
Watching my every move
Taunting me
Spreading whispers all over my garden
Calling me the Grasshopper whisperer to his chums
then twistedly laughs at me
As I run away from tiny jumping
Vile creatures
Today I took a stand
As one of his dirty buddies jumped on my leg
then to the back door
to tease me,..
I had enough!
I grabbed my gardening glove and talked myself through it
" I can do this, breath, breath"
My 4 yr old asks who I am talking to
I say "that nasty grasshopper over there"
Now he is hanging by one leg on my window
no doubt showing off to his creepy friends
I swat, yes I think my eyes were closed
missed him completely
Then I re gather myself
" I am a big girl, I can do this, I can do this"
I Smack and he goes floppin on the ground
It is official
Sassy Vs. Hopper
Stay tuned,...........

Grasshoppers aren't so bad. Box Elder Bugs however are the most vile creatures ever and we get the luck to have them here. Nothing kills them either! My husband actually did get a flame torch and a propane tank and hooked together and poured the lovely fire upon these creatures. Ugh and some even lived through that!!! LoL. My bug ick factor? Butterflies. They are pretty from far away but really creepy and I hate flying things so I don't like them. LoL. Grasshoppers though...LoL.

I like Stephanie's idea.
Or, find out what eats them and get one of those....or a few....

Hugs!!

I am so impressed. That's one awesome photo. You'll be better than me before long. Hey, you may even be able to look at my blog without screaming:) Seriously though I spent yesterday stomping my feet while filming an ants' nest. Were the ants asserting their rights to their privacy? I wish. I had attracted a horse fly. There's my yuck factor.
